Altered - Presents

what if you could change the past?

A series of objects, fifteen in total, representing fifteen different and alternate presents. Each a result or effect from a change in the past. A handout guide was exhibited alongside the small objects, which contained descriptions and functions for each object as well as hints in to the past that resulted in the manifestation of each object.

A short paragraph from the booklet:

Imagine traveling back and forth arriving back in a different house. The house itself and the contents keep changing, growing larger or smaller or nice or poorer or even disappears. Rather than revealing changes on a grand scale in terms of the world around us, what happens to our most immediate surroundings. How do the consequences, the effects reveal themselves in the context of our home, how would this cause, ripple and effect banal objects such as a hairdryer or a cup?

The Guide also contained an introduction to the process of the project, descriptions as well as more factual text explaining the theories and facts of Time Travel, and Multi Universes.
